The online Home of the UK's Independent Bike Shops At Together We Ride, we are passionate believers in the importance of supporting your local bike shop; these shops are at the core of the cycle industry. They number over 3,000 in the UK, and a huge proportion of their business is offline. However, we believe they deserve an online voice too – and TWR is the platform from which they will be heard! What do we mean by Independent Bike Shop? By Independent Bike Shop, we mean the privately owned, independent businesses that are the mainstay of the UK cycle industry. We appreciate that some of the big shops offer good levels of service, but they do not feature on this site for 2 reasons: 1. We do not believe that they offer the level of expertise found in many independent specialists 2. They have the capability and online presence to promote themselves ‐ small independents do not.
