Unlike other positioning solutions (e.g. GPS), consistent position accuracy of within one to three feet can be achieved. In comparison to traditional toll collection schemes such as manned tollway plazas, coin baskets, and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tracking, the TollSense app does not require the installation of any infrastructure or equipment on the tollway.
