TCDA is one of the three legal successors of the South Transdanubian Development Agency. TCDA is a public, non-profit entity, owned in 100% by Tolna County Council. It provides professional background for regional development in the geographical territory of Tolna County on the fields of transport, energy, environment, spatial planning and urban development, entrepreneurship and clustering, education, tourism, etc. Its relevant main activities are: strategic and operational planning on regional, sub-regional and settlement level, management of territorial cooperation projects (see later), capacity building. Due to this role and the ownership, TCDA is in regular contact with the Tolna County Council and with the settlement municipalities of the county. In terms territorial cooperation projects TCDA has the necessary in house expertise and project management skills available.
