Topaz provides a comfortable and friendly meeting place and point of meet for the whole community serving a selection of tempting fair trade teas, coffees, sandwiches and wholesome locally grown vegetarian food. We provide good quality food at prices that the whole community can afford. All produce sold is fairly traded, organic and locally produced and sourced. We run an extremely unique business in the Tameside area that prioritises on employing volunteers to run the café. Topaz Café prides itself on the success it has achieved in the past 12 months. This includes the achievement of the Best Vegetarian Restaurant in Greater Manchester. We have also had a recent mention in the Guardian. We intend to be innovative by using this recognition to raise the awareness of our café and the good practice we have towards green practices.
