The mission of 501(c)3 Torito Arts NFP is to promote ethnic, racial, cultural and conceptual diversity in the performing arts and to make a wide variety of art forms accessible to general and underserved audiences. Torito Arts not only strives to bring cultural and social visibility to often under-represented communities through the arts, but also to welcome audiences who often feel that the performing arts scene is something exclusive, elitist and not meant for them. These audiences include children and youth, people of color, people with mental and physical disabilities and low-income communities.
