Following a recruitment drive, over 80 players arrived at Riverdale Park in August of 1950 to form the first ever Rugby Union league in Ontario. The Nomad's (blue and white hoops) Rugby Football Club was born.Since the 1950's the Nomads are now a 260 member, downtown Toronto competitive side boasting:- Men's, 3 teams- Women's, 2 teams- Junior's, 7 teams- Old Mad's, 1 teamIn 2010, the Nomads celebrated 60 years of Rugby!
