Toscana Solutions is a professional services company that specializes in designing and implementing cost-effective data driven and cloud based solutions emphasizing the use of open source software. We were founded in 2008 with one goal in mind - to provide world class consulting services to our clients. For us, this means solving our customer's problems in the most efficient and cost effective way possible. What we saw in the consulting industry was a tendency to solve problems in ways that weren't always in the customer's best interest. Essentially, the industry was dominated by two types of consulting firms: order takers and technology pushers. Our frustration with these approaches was that is both cases, the consulting companies had their priorities in mind, not their customer's. At Toscana, this goes against everything we believe and upon which we founded the company. We believe that by being an advocate for our customers, by always putting their priorities first and foremost, we can make them as successful as they can possibly be. And as our customers succeed, so will we.That is why we built the company and why we work with open source technology. Using open source, we can build complex and highly technical solutions for our customers that are every bit as powerful as proprietary solutions, but at a fraction of the cost.
