Restaurants - Cutchogue, New York, United States
Grand reopening news...Chef and co-owner Brian Pennacchia was quoted as telling the News-Review in an article in January, that we are completing "...an ambitious renovation" -- and ambitious it was!Now we're happy to announce the GRAND REOPENING of Touch of Venice!Behind the doors of what was once Fisherman's Rest in Cutchogue, major renovations have taken place, revealing home of the new Touch of Venice Restaurant. Family owned and operated for over 25 years, TOV was previously located in nearby Mattituck. Our loyal former customers can expect a similar menu (as well as wine and drink list) featuring Italian and local specialties, and will be pleasantly surprised by our new decor. The theme? Vintage European. The whole family, along with a restaurant designer, was involved in the entire process to create a stylish, yet rustic, casual setting. Among the details are tin ceilings, rustic woodwork, wood and tile flooring, vintage drink posters and artwork, some of the Pennacchia family's own photographs of Venice, a brand new glass-enclosed, temperature-controlled wine room, a spectacular Venetian glass chandelier, and cozy, stylish banquettes.A party room is available for private gatherings of any size, and we offer great happy hour specials at our 20-seat bar.
