Initially offering accommodation at specially discounted rates to staff making their own flight arrangements.Touchdown Holidays combined operations with Travel Industry Services in July 2018 to form what is now the leading tour operator in this field. Accommodation was made available worldwide on all continents of the globe at special rates, with refunds being available should offloads occur whilst travelling on stand-by.By 1991, a demand existed for discounted air seats on a confirmed basis to eliminate the risk element of travelling stand-by.
