We design, manufacture, and implement control systems for the mining, manufacturing and processing industries – and any other industry for that matter.That's because whilst we are small we are also smart.Here are some of the smart things we are doing at present:New ZealandThe New Zealand TAB has over 700 outlets. Information for sporting event betting changes is traditionally conveyed to punters in these outlets by staff pinning sheets of paper to corkboards on the outlet walls. Labour intensive (read ‘costly') and cumbersome (read ‘time consuming').Since 2008 we have supplied TABs in four states and territories in Australia with over 5500 interactive touchscreens (our design) so that punters can search for betting information on a huge range of sporting events. These touchscreens are ruggedized because unfortunately losing punters sometimes feel the need to vent their emotions on the object that gave them the betting information in the first place. Not one of those touchscreens has been returned due to a broken or damaged screen. We make them tough in Arana Hills!The NZ TAB pilot sites required us to customise the Android operating system and the display application.QueenslandSmall sized company that is an absolute expert in their very narrow, highly specialised niche.They have a small scale batch production line with four workstations. They rework an expensive, imported product for the Australian marketplace. No room for mistakes and their primary workplace concern is quality control.And yet their quality control system involves paper based data collected on the shop floor and keyed into a back office spreadsheet. Our brief: bring the shop floor into this century by providing ruggedized touch panel interactive screens to not only display job process diagrams, but also provide live job updates into the quality control system by workers with greasy, dirty (or even gloved) hands.
