TouchVision is multisensory inclusive education platform for visually impaired children.Visually Impaired Children lack far behind sighted children in terms of learning and adapting to new things. They have very limited options in terms of learning material and recreational activities. Braille has served as a great alternative for text but there is no such alternative for diagrams and pictures.Our aim is to make diagrams accessible for the visually impaired users through technological interventions. Our first product, multimodal inclusive education platform for visually impaired children aims to assist them in perception and cognition development by sensitizing them about different concepts in their environment so that their inclusion in the education ecosystem is speeded up.TouchVision has an interdisciplinary team comprising of passionate individuals with previous experience in developing assistive technologies and is presently incubated at IIT Delhi.
