Tour du Canada is a club, a cross-Canada bike tour and a non-profit corporation. The annual cross-Canada ride was first held in 1988. In 2018 we celebrate our 30th cross-Canada ride. Approximately 1,000 people have completed the ride. Cyclists travel through all 10 Canadian provinces from Vancouver, B.C. to St. John's Newfoundland.Tour du Canada is governed by a Board of Directors which are elected from the membership. The Tour du Canada Mission Statement is: To encourage, conduct and promote inter-provincial bicycle tours in Canada;To encourage, conduct and promote complementary education and information programmes that further a general interest in cycling;To help ascertain, defend and protect the rights of cyclists.Cycle Canada, The Veloforce corporation provides administrative support to Tour du Canada.
