The Tourism Meeting was conceived in 2016 by businessman Guilherme Guimarães with the objective of connecting entrepreneurs and business people in the Tourism trade through experiences and meetings to promote ideas and networking with social responsibility and sustainable reference, highlighting social causes.The first edition took place in Armação dos Búzios (Rio de Janeiro) and was followed by editions in the cities of Rio de Janeiro, Angra and Paraty. The 7th edition took place online in September 2020, with the theme "Tourism Will Continue", and was conceived in the midst of the pandemic with a proposal to have a social impact and promote paving strategies for the resumption of tourism, with the participation of authorities on the subject and more than 2,000 people from all over the world in 4 hours of transmission.
