Golden is an exceptional place to live - but there's not enough room here to talk about it. We are surrounded by massive mountains, two big heritage rivers, six national parks, an incomparable ski resort, and we're just over 2 hours from Calgary. We employ approximately 30 full time staff to ensure we are able to provide the programs and services our community needs, fulfill our legal obligations to the public, and maintain our community's livability.We represent the most accessible and responsive level of government, with our Council and staff being local citizens and community members.
