TownChic Global Venture (Pvt) Ltd. was founded by two passionate individuals who saw a gap in the availability of authentic quality goods in Sri Lanka. Having lived overseas most of their lives they felt Sri Lankans were being treated as second-class citizens by the major blue-chip players in the choices they were given in the retail marketplace. They noted that high prices, counterfeits, lack of consistent supply, expired goods, and lack of choice were just a few of a plethora of problems faced by Sri Lankan consumers.
