TRACS srl was created in 1997 in Rome. It provides expertise, know-how and innovative solutions in ICT-related systems and applications, including R&D of HW/SW components for Industrial Automation, Tourism and Environment sector clients, web-based applications and networking platforms, wireless-based sub-systems, advanced statistical algorithms, and multimedia communications solutions. It is a privately-owned R&D Centre: the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) has granted TRACS the status of a "MUR recognised Research Laboratory", according to Ministry-controlled procedures. TRACS is based in Naples and Palermo areas.
