Training & Assessment Services (TAS) is a training provider based in West London. The company was established in 1994 to deliver basic skills training in employability, ESOL, Literacy, Numeracy and ICT to individuals from minority ethnic groups and women returners. Reflecting our local market, over 90% of our customers are BME and include ex-offenders, individuals with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, NEETS, lone parents, asylum seekers and the long-term unemployed. Our overall objective is to improve the life chances of those most in need in Southall, Ealing and the wider West London area. We seek to: Help disadvantaged, unemployed individuals secure employment.Help disadvantaged individuals improve their literacy, numeracy and basic skills.Reduce crime by assisting ex offenders to secure training and employment.Support 16-18 year olds access government funded apprenticeship schemes.To offer citizenship and immigration advice as well as broader welfare support to the local community. To build a range of employer relationships allowing direct recruitment of our customers into sustainable employment.
