Ruth Taylor is a facilitator and Parent Coach with over 20 years experience who works under the brands TrainngU2BU and the Childish Adult.Since arriving in New Zealand Ruth has worked as a contract facilitator for the Parenting Place and Parent to Parent delivering parenting, wellness and advocacy courses. More recently she became a facilitator for PressGo, focusing more on mental health wellness workshops.Ruth learnt conflict management and de-escalation techniques in the UK while managing a community mediation caseload, and teaching Peer mediation in schools. Services were successfully set up in 17 schools with over 550 pupils, parents and professionals attending training. Ruth has worked with individuals and parents in the disability field, providing her with a view of the world that most 'atypical' families do not get the opportunity to do. With three books written and more in the pipe line Ruth continues to provide support to parents even when they are unable to connect directly.
