Trance Republic (TR) is a non-profitable organisation that seeks to promote trance music in Singapore and Asia. TR's has been introducing and promoting trance music to the Singapore dance scene since 2001.TR was founded in 2001 by a group of Singapore trance fans who realised that trance music was non-existence within their local dance scene. Initially being a group of trance fans attending trance gigs, TR has now grown into a group organising TR events and conducts web and media coverage on local trance events. Moreover, TR works closely with Singapore clubs by offering feedback and support for their trance events.In pursuit of its vision, TR undertakes event organisation, DJ promotion, news coverage and internet publicity for all trance DJs and events. TR disseminates information through its website and encourages information exchange through its forum.TR is a democratic, self-governing movement. All major policy decisions are undertaken by the TR crew.
