The travel agency established in 1988 has already completed 25 years of operation and during this span has got recognized for its pioneering contribution in the field of escorted tours.Established by Mr. Sanjay Barot, travel professional, tourism trainer and travel writer, the agency identified a niche in the area of personalized tours. Realizing soon the gap in claims and delivery of service in the area of 'packaged tours', agency focused on families and small groups that desired to travel on their own. This gave rise to the idea of 'driver guide tours', when in Europe and Scandinavia, experiment of personally driving the groups met with great success.The idea was then encapsulated as 'RAKHDOO' tours. The term 'Rakhdoo' in vernacular means 'a person who is a wanderer by choice and travels habitually. He also derives great pleasure from his wandering'. Agency picked-up on this term and made 'Rakhdoo' into a mascot of individual - independent travelling.
