Transcending Security is an international affairs blog devoted towards Human Security related topics, founded in response to the lack of foreign affairs publications within the Human and Non-Traditional Security paradigm. Human Security topics are often mentioned in the media, but not expressed in such a light that sheds importance on the issues that scarcity, human rights and other facets of the Non-Traditional Security have on international security and foreign policy. We aim to present and inform the policy community on current Non-Traditional Security challenges as they relate to the future of U.S. foreign policy, international and regional security.
