TravelMetrics Details
TravelMetrics is an analytics product that helps users plan their trip by quantifying select aspects of travel. We provide metrics for the following travel facets: 1) Tourist Safety, 2) Climate-Based Visitability (best time to visit) 3) Expensiveness (relative cost difference), & 4) NewsCloud (the current "buzz" of a location). The benefit of our product is that it provides a "one-stop shop" to assessing, analyzing, and comparing potential travel destinations on the above four parameters. The indices shown here are based on the data collected from various sources, including but not limited to government, non-government and scientific organizations. The data from different sources are processed using advanced analytic techniques. We do not use data from Facebook, Twitter or other social media since these data have been shown to be biased, as would also be intuitively expected. Rather our analytics are based on data from credible and legitimate sources and thus more likely to provide robust estimates of our TravelMetrics.
