We are an international 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that designs deep and powerful journeys that combine the beauty of nature with meaningful volunteer opportunities.Founded on the need for rebuilding relief efforts in Nepal following the 2015 devastation of the Gorkha earthquake, Trek Relief began a fundraising campaign that inspired over forty people to raise funds, volunteer their time in rebuilding broken homes, and go on their first ever tea house trek in the Himalayas. In just over six months, $50,000 was raised in a collective effort to provide disaster relief.Encouraged by the great feedback on all fronts, our vision for the tremendous potential of this fundraising model quickly evolved into a non-profit that provides a beautiful framework for voluntourism and relief to those in need in remote parts of the world.#travelwithpurpose
