Trencalòs Team Details
Trencalòs Team is a student non-profit association committed to design and manufacture high-performance modeling radio-controlled unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Our goal is the development of aeronautical projects and science outreach. In 2011 the team transformed a commercial modelling sailplane into an aeroplane only propelled by solar photovoltaics, becoming the first solar aircraft ever built by students in Spain. The sailplane flew during 6 consecutive hours.Since 2007 the team has participated in every edition of the international aeronautical competition Air Cargo Challenge. Next edition will take place in Munich, Germany in July 2022.
