Trend Environmental provides oilfield waste/water management, recycling and disposal services to E&P companies. We focus our efforts in emerging shale plays where high levels of drilling activity create a significant demand for our services. Trend will save oil companies money by installing an environmentally compliant, commercial saltwater disposal facility in the heart of the Eagle Ford Shale of South Texas. This year, 2,500 - 3,000 wells will be drilled and completed. Each well will require 1,000+ truckloads of water representing 6,000,000 gallons or 142,000 barrels of water to complete. After a well is completed, the waste water is transported via pipeline or tanker truck to nearby disposal wells. Salt water disposal facilities make money by charging a fee ranging from $0.35-1.50 for every barrel disposed. In addition, oil is collected from the waste water and sold, further increasing profitability. The company is anticipating $3.1M in first year EBITDA based on area activity.
