The purpose of TOPA is to assist in student learning and provide individuals the opportunity to expand their overall knowledge of psychology. Mission The mission of the Trent Oshawa Psychology Association is to advance your understanding of science and to promote discussion within the psychology department. The mission encompasses four objectives: 1) increase knowledge and understanding for all psychology students, 2) provide students the opportunity to participate in student to professor interactions outside of the classroom, 3) promote the advancement, development, and application of psychological knowledge, and 4) to provide access to events which could take the form of discussion panels, formal and informal lectures, speeches, and/or talks.
