Tri-County Literacy Council (TCLC) specializes in addressing adult literacy needs in the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry counties of Ontario. This free training includes:Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) upgrading;General Educational Development (G.E.D.) Preparation;Apprenticeship Preparation;Basic Computer training; andOccupational training for entry-level positions.Training is based on the nine Essential Skills identified by the Government of Canada as necessary for success at work and in daily life. We offer a small group classroom and one-on-one tutoring with volunteer tutors. All of our programs and services are free of charge. We also offer free educational assessments and develop training plans based on an individual's goals.
