Religious Groups - Mentor, OH, US
It really is an amazing story! We started in December of 1982 with 15 wide-eyed, excited Kingdom folks. The Southern Baptist Convention had challenged its members to start new churches. The Painesville Baptist Church had committed themselves to the Lord's leading to start a new church. Trinity began in a home and then moved to the Mentor Pythian Castle in 1983. Due to growth, the church moved to the Mentor Community Center in 1985. During that same year, land was purchased for a church building on Johnnycake Ridge Road in Mentor. The church was built by volunteers in 1991. Currently over 500 of us come in and out of our doors every Sunday morning. Numbers, however, are not the whole story. Trinity has been built on the foundation stones of declaring the gospel, developing authentic Christ Followers and releasing them into our homes, community and world...equipped servants who burn with passion to be used by Him.
