Trinity Lutheran Foundation was established as a tax-exempt corporation in 1986 to provide a means for members and friends of Trinity Lutheran Church (Mission, KS) to set aside funds that would support the mission of the church long after their death. While Trinity Lutheran Foundation is part of the overall ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church, it is not controlled by the governing body of the congregation. Trinity Lutheran Foundation is a separate corporation with its own board of directors. The funds entrusted to Trinity Lutheran Foundation are not intended to supplement the congregation's budget, but are intended to be used to support activities and ministries that are not included in a church budget.Mission:> Providing financial support for those in training to be professional church workers, and for the continuing education of those who are professional church workers.> Helping to support special mission projects such as (but not limited to) direct support for missionaries, special missions, servant events, etc..> Giving financial aid to those facing special needs.> Funding seminars and training events at Trinity.> Support the development and use of arts and music in the church.
