The first fund was the 1999 'TheTriton Fund' (€590 million). Triton 1A (€60 million) was established in 2002 to enable investors to invest additional capital in parallel with the initial fund (together Triton I). The €1.1 billion Triton II Fund was established in 2006 and the €2.4 billion Triton III Fund was established in 2009. Coreinvestmentprinciples Our investment strategy is to invest in leading businesses in Northern Europe. These businesses typically are mid-market companies within three sectors: Industrials, Business Services and Consumer / Health. Triton and its advisers have been working in these core sectors and geographies for decades. We also have backgrounds and experiences in other relevant sectors and geographies including the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, North America, China and India.
