We started in 2009 gathering knowledge about extra virgin olive oil, shortly afterward we started importing from bespoken producers such as: Pianogrillo, Tega, Franci, Cerrosughero, Gafa' and Vecchi to mention some. We grew to be able to handle 14 labels among which 6 DOPs (Garda Orientale, Garda Bresciano, Lucca, Seggianese, Canino and Monti Iblei) and two certified BIOs. In 2011 we started selling also to HORECA players in the Randstadt area. At the moment we have six restaurants and one hotel among our customers, and we were present in 5 markets/fair this year. We also provide olive oil "tasting&knowledge" workshops to groups for private clubs, companies like Akzo Nobel and Generali Verzekering but also "olijfolie avonds" in restaurants like "La Cucina di Georgia" in Haarlem. Our goal is to grow until feasible trading the quality we are comfortable with, stressing producers for quality (and analysis and proper controls on their products) in order to be able to offer customers in the area, which come from a completely different taste experience (butter) real value for their money. So far, we consider ourself successful.
