Welcome to Tromsø International School (TRINT). We are an exciting and growing international school situated in Tromsø. Tromsø is the Arctic capital of Norway. There are over 20 different nationalities amongst the students, parents and the TRINT staff. The school was established in 2011 and was authorized as an IB world school in 2013 for the PYP and 2014 for the MYP.Being an IB World School gives us the privilege to offer the primary (PYP) and middle (MYP) years programmes to students from all around the world. Our building is located in Breiviklia, just below the Arctic university, UiT.We are a small and warm school community and we proudly call ourselves the TRINT family. Our values are care, curiosity, collaboration and creativity. The administration, the TRINT staff and the TRINT students work in an open environment where everybody knows everybody.We have a full inclusion policy in our school, we have room for all kinds of students. Our goal is that every student will reach their full potential and become lifelong learners.We all share the responsibility of making TRINT a school with a safe and good learning environment.
