Tropical Running Tours is founded on the belief that running tours combine the beauty of tropical environments with running, while receiving a tour of each beautiful place you run in. Our tours are not races; rather, they are jogs through delightful and exotic environments. Running a tour covers more ground and allows more access than any other type of tour such as bicycling, tour bus, or walking. The experience of a tropical running tour is more than running, it involves a retreat on a multi-day stay in quaint local resorts, providing great cuisine, a boat tour (since each destination is near the water), yoga, local lunches, and mixers at night. We don't drink too much because we run the first half of each day, starting at sunrise. This is for the runner who can easily do a 5k at an 11 min per mile pace. We run short 1-2.5 miles at a time, to amass 10k each day. Between each run, we are introduced to the tropical environments such as its history of peoples, the facts of the hundreds, sometimes thousands of years of history, and what makes the place where you are running through so special. We can describe a tropical running tour as a run-cation or retreat but it's so much more; it's a tour through history whereby we plug into the environment's vibe, its facts, and form an intimate relationship with the place while running our short jogs. You'll take away a sense of accomplishment after running a total of 20k in small short and slow runs. You'll learn and enjoy the beauty of the natural environment you run through. Your accommodations will always give you the flavor of the place you are in. You will eat the best local cuisine, dine on islands, and run to local lunch spots. A tropical running tour is like no other tour, and you surely will remember your unique experience as you finish with a sense of accomplishment and joy.
