TruBeach* TruBeach is a mobile community platform created to empower everyone to explore beaches, share their experiences, and protect the world's waters. Families, beachgoers and beach cleanup groups, can discover beautiful and safe beaches to enjoy, while at the same time informing the community about beaches and waters that need support. * TruBeach couldn't be made possible without your participation. In 1992, Nigel co-founded Aqua-Guard Spill Response Inc. The business's mission: protect water, the world's most precious resource. For over twenty years, the company has designed, fabricated and supplied marine oil spill response equipment and provided related services to 3,000+ clients worldwide. Aqua-Guard's patented oil skimming technology has been used to clean up spills from Alaska to the Gulf of Mexico and from Egypt to China. Nigel and Aqua-Guard have received multiple awards for their innovation, business excellence and entrepreneurialism.The real beaches behind the filters Ever visited a beach and the reality is far from the glassy blue waters on google images? Instead of soft, yellow sands we're greeted with an array of colourful micro-plastics, like the coloured stones of a fish tank floor. Well, our friends Trubeach have developed a free app that allows you to highlight the true reality of our shorelines. You can post photos and write reviews on the current water and land conditions, and with over 750 beaches plotted on the map in North America, we can circulate the shabby, and not so shabby, state of our beloved beaches.
