True Blue Animal Rescue is a no-kill animal rescue focused on helping domestic animals in need due to abuse or neglect situations. TBAR takes in animal from personal rescues and through team efforts with law enforcement or veterinarian hospitals. They also support other shelters by offering additional homes for unwanted and homeless animals, or by networking their urgent placement needs. TBAR strives to educate the public on proper pet care, and to advocate the prevention of pet overpopulation through spay and neuter funding options. Over the past twelve months TBAR has taken in 56 horses, 67 dogs, and 26 cats. In the same time period they have found homes for 25 horses, 58 dogs and 20 cats. TBAR maintains 30-40 horses and 30 - 40 dogs at the facility at all times, which means that as we place them in approved homes more animals are always coming in. This past year they held 8 ABLE kids camp events.
