True North Expeditions is an Adventure Therapy program based out of Adelaide, South Australia. South Australia's beautiful outback, whether it be the Flinders Ranges or the endless coastline, is the perfect setting for adventuring out with advanced clinical and outdoor staff for the experience of a lifetime!Our staff at True North Expeditions are all trained with high level degrees in working with young people. Whether it be social work, psychology, counseling, or youth work, our staff are dedicated to delivering a program that is committed to the well being of your child through using innovative and evidence based practices.Learning to survive in the bush is the means for that our program operates. Our approach is based on the latest research in the Adventure Therapy industry. We are one of the only services in the industry that have in-house outcome based research to ensure that our organisation is changing with the feedback from our clients and the outcomes. Peer pressure is a positive way to get teens started down the right path. With this in mind, True North Expeditions hires its staff not only based on their credentials but also the ways in which they relate to young people and build relationship. Each trip leader works with the young person and the family to ensure that the individual needs of the client are met. They will be responsible for working one on one with you to help you find the right support necessary or to help with school advocacy.
