Trybe1 Art Company is an Ajegunle based, multi-cultural company founded to function as a repertory theatre established in 2013 as a vehicle to educate, research, preserve and present a communal and spiritual expression of life.The word TRYBE created from "TRIBE" creates a nurturing environment that encourages cross-cultural exchange and celebrates the versatility of the human spirit amongst creative minds. Through research, the company adapt aspects of African culture, aesthetics and values that are paramount to the work. Trybe1 Art fusion of contemporary modern and West African dance reflects the evolution of movement which encourages innovative approaches promotes collaboration between all artists and cultures. In an effort to expand the boundaries of dance we offer collaborative support for various concerts, classes, open workshops, interactive programs with audience participation, lecture demonstrations and outdoor performances. Its extensive education outreach program elicits open dialogue between artists and audiences to celebrate the differences of our diverse backgrounds.Over the years, the company has stayed true to its idea; which include imparting and impacting values in the in the lives of all who come in contact with us. We have trained talented young individuals who have developed their craft not only in the world of art but also in other face of lives becoming professional dance and act, showcasing art piece of international standard.Where we've trained children/pupils/students, staffs and members, taken them to and representing them at several events levels and competitions.Also we have worked with quiet a number of Directors and Choreographers in Nigeria and across boarders also performed on notable platform and dance festivals like AIRTEL CHANNEL PARTNER 2012, SOCIETY FOR FAMILY HEALTH (SFH) 2013- till, CHRISTAN MISSIONARY FIND PRODUCTION, GOLDEN TULIP HOTEL CUTURAL EVENING, WALK AGAINST STREET VIOLENCE (2013/2014) FACE OF AJEGUNLE
