Mission StatementTryMyWork is a grass roots network of Customers and self-employed Service Providers dedicated to solving unemployment – One Neighbor at a Time. Our VisionBy connecting self-employed Service Providers to Customers in their communities and offering samples of their work, TryMyWork forges "connections that work," networking neighbors into a powerful engine of economic growth. By creating a network of self-employed Service Providers and local Customers, we encourage local entrepreneurship, and our work samples create an incentive for Customers to employ their neighbors. As traditional employers outsource more and more jobs overseas, we can't rely on outside forces to solve the growing problem of unemployment. Instead, TryMyWork provides a forum in which skilled independent Service Providers can market themselves, at no cost, to interested potential Customers. The TryMyWork network is more than a set of listings. It is a dynamic community in which Customers can be Service Providers, and Service Providers can be Customers. We're solving unemployment – One Neighbor at a Time.
