The Tuberous Sclerosis Association, TSA, is a UK registered charity that aims"To provide help for today, and a cure for tomorrow for everyone affected by Tuberous Sclerosis (TS)"Launched in 1977, we are the only UK charity to provide support services and fund medical research in to TS.TS is a rare genetic condition that affects an estimated 10,000 in the UK and 1 million worldwide. People with TS develop tumours in their brain, heart, eye's, kidneys, lungs or on their skin. As a result of these growths many with TS develop complex health conditions and may also have epilepsy, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder and renal problems.
