William V. S. Tubman University is the second of two state-owned and operated universities in Liberia. Transformed in 2009 from William V. S. Tubman Technical College, Tubman University (TU) offers bachelor's degrees in 24 disciplines across six (6) colleges, runs a college preparatory program for high school graduates, and will enroll its first students in the School of Graduate and Professional Studies in early 2022. William V. S. Tubman University aspires to be a center of quality and excellence. Our mission is to provide quality educational experiences that transform the lives of individuals for worthy services. Located in Harper, Maryland County, the University serves mostly first-generation college students in a region underserved for over 100 years.
