We are a student team from the Technical University of Munich, participating in the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition. We were founded in 2015 as a part of the larger student aerospace association "WARR". As a very diverse and interdisciplinary team, we are designing, testing and building Hyperloop Pod prototypes. At the first competition in January 2017 we won one of the main prizes for the fastest pod and the "best performance in flight" award. The goal of the second competition which took place in August 2017, was to reach the highest possible speed within the test tube, that was provided by SpaceX. With a top speed of 324 km/h, we not only won the competition, but set a new speed record for Hyperloop prototypes. For the third competition, which took place on the 22nd of July 2018, the goal was again to reach the highest possible speed. 18 teams from all over the world ultimately put their prototypes down through a week of rigorous safety tests, followed by three finalists being allowed into the test tube. We were one of the top there finalists who got to run their pod on the final day of the competition. And once again, with a top speed of 467 km/h, we broke our own previous record to win the competition. The 4th edition of the competition is scheduled to be held in the summer of 2019. As always, even this year our primary goal is to reach the highest speed amongst all the pods participating and win the competition. As of now, we have successfully qualified as one of the finalists who would participate in the competition week in Los Angeles.
