"Turkey - European Union Association (TURABDER) is a non-governmental organization established in 1987, right after our application for full membership to the European Union. Its aim is to lead the necessary studies in order to reach the goal of "integration with the EU" and to create a public opinion around the "European idea" as stated in its statute. It is among the aims of broadcasting, organizing panels, conferences and seminars, and informing the public with press releases. The number of registered members in the head office and branch has exceeded 1300. Our association is also a full member of the "European Movement International", which is organized throughout Europe. The Turkish European Union Association (TURABDER) carries out its activities under the name of the Turkish Council of the International European Movement (European Movement Turkey).
