A Washington, DC based and volunteer-run non-profit organization working towards a more secular, democratic and inclusive Turkey. Our policy areas include: 1. Urban Development (Promoting socially equitable, environmentally sustainable and economically sound urban development in Turkey.) 2. Women's & Minority Rights (Advancing the role of women and minorities in Turkish civil society and government.) 3. Freedom of Press & Assembly (Safeguarding civil liberties, particularly in relation to freedom of press and assembly in Turkey.) 4. Election Monitoring (Monitoring elections in Turkey to ensure that they are free of corruption and fraud.) 5. Educational Reform (Empowering youth to become civically engaged in their communities through educational opportunities that are rigorous, inclusive and secular.) 6. Economic Policy (Assessing and providing insights into current Turkish economic and trade policy.)
