As a social enterprise, we are committed to bringing the benefits of the program even to those that cannot afford it. Schools that pay for the programme will help us deliver it to a school, with under privileged children, that cannot afford to . 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵.- To love reading is to have a great gift because reading for pleasure unlocks many doors in a child's journey of development.- The window of opportunity to instil a love of reading is not big, it's essentially the primary school years.- Reading for pleasure is a habit that is in sharp decline. Low awareness of its benefits, excessive focus on academic texts and digital distractions all play a role. This is a real problem.- It is possible to build a love for reading through a combination of (i) thoughtful book choices (ii) an environment that nurtures deep engagement with storybooks in the company of friends and (iii) consistency over time.
