Twisted Aloe was founded by Ohdehliyah Gordon. The inspiration to create this company stemmed from her cultural background focused on veganism, modesty, and a healthy lifestyle. At an early age, due to the lack of conventional salons Ms. Gordon soon realized the importance of utilizing natural products found in her environment in combination with her natural skill. After attaining professional education in cosmetology she began using hair as a medium to express a myriad of looks thoughts, words, techniques, passion and emotions that vary depending on her clients' demands. Simplicity is at the foundation of every ingredient in each product which has prompted our mission of getting back to basics, using natural resources and plant base ingredients for our hair while educating women on proper hair care technique in order to help them embrace their hair in its natural state.
