The purpose of the TWU Nursing Students' Association (NSA) is to develop interconnectedness between nursing students of every year, bridge the relationship between students and faculty, and present nursing students with opportunities to engage within the nursing community and professional bodies. The NSA's long term Vision is to see TWU nursing students feel a sense of belonging and pride in our school of nursing and have opportunities to flourish and connect with experiences that will help them grow.In addition to hosting inter-school events, the NSA partners with provincial and national nursing organizations. The NSA is an active chapter member of the Canadian Nursing Students' Association. The CNSA presents students with opportunities to join special interest committees and network with other nursing students from across Canada at national conferences. Students of the NSA liaise with the BC Nurses Union, advocating for the needs of nursing students as they enter professional practice as Employed Student Nurses.
