Established in Montevideo, Uruguay, U Films is a production company that was founded in 2012 by Virginia Hinze and Lucia Gaviglio, with the purpose of developing National and International film projects, creating workshops and providing production services.Virginia and Lucía offer the experience of having produced and coproduced fiction and documentary films, as well as advertising projects, directed cultural projects and provided production services for all over the world. U Films considers that two equal projects do not exist, this is why our work is based on creative production, identifying the opportunities that each project has. We choose to challenge creatively all the writers and directors that work with us, set provocative financing processes, form inspired teams of work, with instinct and skills to solve problems in all the stages of the realization of a project.U Films makes special emphasis on the new narrative styles that technology is creating. Today it is difficult to capture the attention of the audience. Consumers are no longer passive, they want to participate in experiences and be part of the story.We, as content creators, need to find new ways to entertain and retain audiences, and that's why we joined the Transmedia narrative.
