UA Sportraad Details
UA Sportraad (University of Antwerp Sports Council) is an official students association of the University of Antwerp, unique in its kind. At our association ‘Mens sana in corpere sana' is what we strive for, this implies one vital objective: encouraging students to practice sports and live a healthy lifestyle. UA Sportraad is about connecting people, as we offer a diverse sports program for the Antwerp students. Moreover, UA Sportraad is responsible for the Antwerp Students League competition, a competition between different (faculty) student associations in various sports: football, futsal, basketball & volleyball. UA Sportraad further hosts a variety of events, of which the "10-urenloop", a non-stop 10 hour relay race, is the most prominent.
