Recently, the University at Buffalo Equity Research club underwent a massive rebranding. Formerly known as the UB Investment Club, the presidents found it necessary to take the club to the next echelon. With the extreme competition finance candidates face, it was essential that the club became more advanced in order to better prepare our finance students. Our mission at UBERC is to take students of all abilities and transform them into tomorrow's leaders of the finance industry. We focus on teaching investment strategies through both quantitative, as well as qualitative analysis. We educate our members through various mediums; active asset management, presentations, competitions, and discussions. We focus on providing students with real-world application through real-time analysis. As a club, we dedicate ourselves to our strong investment philosophies and managerial principles. This club is open to students of all abilities and experience. With our sights set high, we plan to excel and become the next successful finance club.
