The program allows taxpayers to defer and reduce taxes on capital gains by reinvesting gains in "qualified opportunity funds."UBX Capital is an Opportunity Zone Fund (QOZF). Our purpose is to spur economic growth and job creation in economically distressed areas while providing tax benefits and favorable returns to investors.We are one of the first Ozone Funds to operating on a PE & VC modal. We deploy capital to near or post-revenue compaines in software development, healthcare, broadband, consumer products, real estate development, farming, etc. Our focus area resides around bringing sustainable & good-paying jobs to these communities.We look to underwrite business plans with an identifiable path to independent operation without additional equity financing or a path to clear milestones that are likely to attract any additional financing needed.
